Scheduling a pickup is quick and easy—and it’s one of the most impactful ways you can help promote literacy, support local nonprofits, and keep books out of landfills. We offer free pickup for donations of 10 books or more anywhere in the Sacramento area. Simply choose a date and time that works for you, leave your books on your porch or doorstep, and we’ll take care of the rest. Every book you give helps fund and supply programs that make a real difference.

Terms and Conditions

I understand that the minimum number of books needed for a donation pickup is 10. I also understand that the books I am donating need to be in good repair and that Sacramento Book Donation cannot accept books that are damaged. I acknowledge that my books are nonreturnable after pickup. I further acknowledge that my donation will only qualify as tax deductible if I request a receipt of donation in the comments which will be sent to me after my donation has been given to an affiliate nonprofit.
